THERMOSHIELD BASIX is a highly alkaline, surfactant- free cleaner for the machine processing of surgical instruments in washer disinfectors. The good cleaning performance in relation to blood and other protein-containing contaminants is due to the high alkalinity of THERMOSHIELD BASIX. Because of its good material compatibility and corrosion inhibitors both instruments and the machine are protected. The recommended working concentrations correspond to a pH of more than 10.
