Dialogue among international experts

Malsfeld, Germany – Working together successfully requires not only open communication and mutual respect but, above all, transparency. Dr. Schumacher GmbH was therefore particularly pleased to welcome public officials from Turkey’s health authority in Ankara to its head office in Beiseförth on December 19, 2019.

Accompanied by representatives of the Turkish subsidiary of Dr. Schumacher GmbH, Selçuk Tepedelenlioğlu, Sales Director, and Ferhan Türkyılmaz, Quality Management Director, the visiting officials gained insights into the pharmaceutical company's production processes and talked to the experts on site about regulatory requirements and future challenges. In their discussions with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs staff, the visitors were particularly interested in the matter of the European Biocide Regulation and its practical implementation.

A second visit in March this year is currently being planned, which will include a tour of the company’s production facilities in Poland.
