PLMA 2019 – Dr. Schumacher scores with concepts oriented toward the future
Dr. Schumacher GmbH's appearance in Amsterdam at the world's most important private label trade fair, PLMA, with more than 16,000 visitors from 120 countries, was a complete success. The topic of sustainability in particular drew a lot of attention from international visitors.
Under the motto "Discover new market potentials," Dr. Schumacher GmbH not only presented a variety of new ideas for ready-to-use wipes for baby and personal care, household and cosmetics; it also focused communication on the topic of sustainability. This is not only about environmentally friendly materials for wipes and packaging solutions, but in particular about the possibility of praising the products of Dr. Schumacher GmbH as climate neutral. The company has expressly set the goal of calculating all unavoidable CO2emissions transparently and to offset them through targeted investments in climate protection projects. This future-oriented offering, which Dr. Schumacher GmbH is implementing in cooperation with ClimatePartner, was more than welcomed by all visitors to the stand and proved very popular.
The family-run company will continue to invest in the development of environmentally friendly materials, impregnation solutions and sustainable marketing concepts in the future. "We owe this to ourselves and to the future of our planet as a sustainably operating company," emphasizes managing partner Dierk Schumacher.
