Dr. Schumacher supports "Company Christmas Donation" campaign by Doctors without Borders 

2020 has been a special kind of year. A year that has been particularly challenging for us as individuals, companies and society in many respects and has put our social relationships through a tough test. But more than that, 2020 was also a year of special togetherness, which made it clear to us: with unity and solidarity we can face these challenges together!

As a family business and part of society we’re absolutely convinced that the challenges of this time can only be overcome if we stick together. Therefore we too would like to make a contribution to promoting harmony and solidarity. The ongoing situation has meant that health systems in many countries around the world have become severely overstretched – often the most basic necessities are already lacking.

For this reason, we’ve decided to make a donation to support the COVID-19 crisis fund of Doctors without Borders.

Doctors without borders - unconditionally human

Doctors without Borders is currently providing emergency medical aid in crisis and war zones under difficult conditions. The international organization provides fast, efficient and unbureaucratic help - without asking about the origin, religion or political convictions of the people affected. The doctors and nurses, midwives and logisticians of Doctors without Borders work in around 70 countries. They treat sick and wounded people, look after malnourished children or provide clean drinking water and latrines.

Even more than usual, this year Christmas is a celebration that transcends distance and connects families and people from all around the world.

With this in mind, Dr. Schumacher wishes you and your families a joyous and peaceful Christmas and a successful, happy and healthy New Year.
