Our in-house research and development (R&D) is one of the core competencies of Dr. Schumacher. With an eye on the latest trends in nonwoven materials, active substancs and packaging, we are permanently developing new solutions and patents. At the same time, more than 550 existing formulas are continously being optimised.
This means that we can offer you impregnating solutions that meet your needs and requirements that are tailored to the corresponding nonwoven and the desired folding technique. As a manufacturer of medicinal products, medical devices, biocides and cosmetics, we can implement almost any formulation: from aqueous and alcoholic solutions to emulsions and oil baths to creams, ointments, gels and powder products.
We also have comprehensive experience in handling a wide range of active substances and draw on our own continuously updated database in which we record all the substances we use. Extensive research ensures that only those substances are used that involve the least possible hazardous potential for the user.
Continuous quality controls at all stages of manufacturing and, last but not least, dermatological tests and stability tests guarantee products that meet the specific requirements of the customers while of course complying with legal regulations. We are experts in disinfection and hygiene liquids which means it is a matter of course for us to develop chemical preparations in accordance with the valid legal regulations such as the biocide ordinance and/or in accordance with the requirements of the detergents ordinance.
The close cooperation with our in-house quality management and regulatory affairs divisions enables anticipatory development, production and marketing authorisation of new formulations that satisfy not only customer requirements but also any legal regulations.
